The arduous 173 steps are a steep, sandy alternative, some would say challenging way, to get to down to Saltburn Beach and the promenade, if you don’t want to,or can’t use The Saltburn Cliff Lift, a water-balanced funicular, the oldest in the UK, and the 2nd oldest in the world. However, I’d say the ascent back up the 173 steps is far more challenging! When you get half way up your legs are screaming for mercy!
As it was a cold, frosty February morning I decided not to use the steps, and it was too early for the Cliff Lift, so I settled for getting some sunrise shots where I was

Do you sell image prints?
We don’t sell digital image prints due to the huge variation in printing costs and print quality, and of course the huge variation in shipping costs/restrictions depending where in the world you’re located.
How do I receive my image?
Once your payment has cleared you will receive a link to download your purchase. The image/images are contained in a zip file which also contains your image licence. This licence also contains confirmation that you have full printing rights which some printers do ask for. If you set up an account during the checkout process you can login to your account at any time to download your purchase.
Can I get a refund?
Due to the fact that a digital image file is extremely easy to duplicate we do not provide refunds on purchases, so please ensure you’re happy with your image choice before you pay for it.
